the " cemetary".
we drove down to regan and found this place and spent the entire day. incredible, the work this couple has put into this movie set! so much to explore, and the people were great. we went a few years back, and ate at the restaurant, as well as visiting the well stocked gift shop, whose prices were very wallet friendly. i think the best part was listening to the stories told by the owners. well worth the long drive from okc, for a day trip!
i had to choose 2021 off the visit list, but it was further back when we visited...probably closer to 2014. very photogenic place, if you like the old west!

This was such a good place to go and eat. You could also have fun looking around the old western town or looking around in the gift shop.

Husband and I drove to Tishomingo from OKC yesterday to explore the little town and decided to check this place out. It’s abandoned. Don’t waste your time driving out there like we did!

My son and I have visited several times over the last few years. We have a blast and the Shacklefords and staff are very nice people. The food is delicious, there's lots to see, and just plain fun! We are going to visit again very soon :)

Awesome for sure. Spent the day and the food was so very good. A guide took us around the old town. Every old building was full of old west things.

Wife, daughter & I rode down here on motorcycles 2 hours just to eat lunch & it was WELL worth the RIDE! Daughter & I had the Chicken fried steak. I had mashed taters & green beans with mine & she had fried okra & taters with hers. It was all homeade & very delicious, as well as plenty of food to fill you up!!! My wife had chopped steak with beans & french fries. It was all EXCELLENT. We also enjoyed walking around the old west town. If you have never been there, you should take the time to make the Journey. Great home food & friendly service, that you just don'f find everywhere.

Sipokni West is truly a hidden gem. This old western movie set and restaurant has something for everyone. I had the fish and it was so good, there was even enough for leftovers. The Shacklefords make everyone feel like family and it’s a fun place to visit.

We had a hard time finding the cafe in this old west movie set. Very interesting place to wander around and there were even some gun slingers, although we didn’t see them perform. We heard the chicken fried steak was good so we got that, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans and fresh black eyed peas. It was almost like eating at your Grandma’s house! The owner sat and talked with us a while, so that was fun. We’ll definitely go back and try more of this home cooking! Table next to us had fried catfish that looked good, and the French fries were not the frozen ones. Give it a try! Take the kids to see the old west town and make an afternoon of it. Only open Thursday Friday and Saturday I believe.

We stumbled upon Sipokni West, and were surprised at the number of people there on a Saturday afternoon. We considered that to be a good sign. Even though the movie set/western town is a bit kitschy, we were very impressed with the Saloon, which is the restaurant. It’s pretty small with limited seating, but we were seated and served fairly quickly. The food my husband and I ordered (we both got meatloaf and mashed potatoes with gravy) was SO GOOD, so very delicious. I wish it wasn’t so far from home, because we would be regulars, for sure. Prices were surprisingly reasonable. We visited the gift shop next door after our meal. It was a pleasant stop, and if we are ever in the area, we will come back to the Saloon, for sure.

My wife and I visited Sipokni on a Saturday and we talked to Johnny Shackelford the owner. He had a lot of great things to say, fun stories good jokes ....this place was very authentic and we've been to a lot of these including Tombstone Old Tucson and Buckskin Joe's, etc. For Oklahoma a lot of history preserved here. This was just good fun nice people good photo opportunity place to take your kids in and see the history of the Old West. Great place to see gunfights on 3rd Saturday. Church groups are welcome. Good clean family fun. Thank u to the Shackelfords for preserving such neat western memories. Buy your kids a cap gun in the gift shop and let them have fun in a cowboy town.
