The grounds, architecture, and art are stunning! Wear comfy shoes. The gift shop is large and there are plenty of reasonably priced items. You will also enjoy the surrounding neighborhood—it is gorgeous. We are especially glad that we visited in November because the trees were...More

I courted my wife here 30 years ago and we've visited Philbrook every few years since then. We recently came back after a 15 year hiatus and were amazed at how well kept the place is. The gardens are absolutely beautiful (we have photos of...More

Philbrook is part of Tulsa's history. Once owned by an oil Tycoon, it is now one of the best museums Tulsa has to offer.

We have visited the Philbrook on many occasions, for special exhibits, for general visits of the amazing art, to enjoy the gardens, and to have brunch or lunch in the Villa Restaurant. The collection is amazing for a museum that is in the center of...More

Though their art collection isn't anything extraordinary, they do have one room filled with paintings by the Wyeth family. Otherwise, it's sort of a hodge podge of various art from various periods, all of it OK, but nothing amazing. However, the grounds and gardens ARE...More

I love this art museum. It is not huge, but it has some nice pieces and the best part it is in a former oil baron's home. The gardens in back are totally worth checking out. I would go back again.
