This lighthouse is not very attractive but it is a landmark of Bandon. It is located near the dock of Bandon in a beautiful area. Very visible from the town.

If possible, this is an evening shot with the sun low in the western sky. You may want to shoot it from the south side of the river using old piling as mid ground subjects.

Beautiful beaches and tons of driftwood . . . can walk the beach for a very long time and the view is outstanding. Be sure to see the Lighthouse as well -- well taken care of

Great picture taking place with restrooms and a beach to go hunting for treasures. If the lighthouse is open make sure you go in and check it out. The walk up to the top is not that bad if they are letting people go. We...More

Wife is a lighthouse buff and was pumped to get to see this while we was staying in Bandon. Nice and quaint and the nearby beach was nice to watch the sunset.

This little lighthouse sits at the mouth of the Coquille River next to the old jetty. Very picturesque spot. The beach is one of the wildest I've seen anywhere, with tons driftwood (literally, tons). A bit too cold and rough for swimming but spectacular for...More

This is an adorable little lighthouse on the outskirts of Bandon, Oregon. A person can't go inside save once or twice a year but it's still a nice place to visit!

We go here nearly every trip to Bandon. It's always good for photograghy buffs, especially at sunset. It also has a long jetty for walking on as well as fairly easy access to a nice beach with lots of driftwood. If you're there at the...More

To park, yes. Turning around maybe. It depends on how big of truck and trailer and how many other guests there are. However the road it is on its not a busy road and banking into the driveway or out shouldn't be difficult. I... More

You can not park close to the Lighthouse, single lane road. There is a wider lot further back, but the parking can be full. The campground is nearby, maybe you can leave the trailer there.

I would agree with the others who stated at was at least a mile off of 101. Follow the road until the end which will take you right to the light house and beach. There is parking next to the light house which will allow... More
