Cool park

We went here thinking it was close to the falls but it is about 25 mins from the falls. It is a gorgeous park and worth the visit but don't confuse the two

This is a nice little state park located just a few miles outside of Bend, which is awesome when you've discovered that your batteries are dead and a store is a short drive away. It's pretty close to a lot of fun activities in the area, such as mountain and road biking, hiking, visiting the Newberry crater, shopping in Sisters,... More

I wonderful place to hike, the trails are very easy, little bit rocky at times but very easy. Your also hiking along the river the whole time. I've been here several times with my dogs, an they even loved the hike. In an out of the river the whole time.

I stayed in the yurt at the state park for a couple of days and loved it! The campground host was nice and helpful with getting me settled and the bathroom was clean and well-stocked. One of the showers was broken and the other was so dirty I didn't shower in it. The only downside to this stay was that... More

We rented a yurt for our anniversary this year in the middle of January, so it was pretty cold. The yurts are equipped with heaters so it wasn't too bad, but just know you have to bring your own pillows, blankets, etc. We had an amazing time just getting away for a night. I would love to try the yurts... More

It was full during our stay – highly recommend advanced reservations; very popular for access to Sisters, Redmond, Bend in high desert of Central Oregon. We’ve camped here regularly over several years and never disappointed Most recent stay was 6/13/16 - I'm "late" in posting my review ~ We camp in a "Tear Drop” style RV only 15' long w/o... More

We were there in the winter and it was absolutely gorgeous. Water fall was spectacular and a fairly easy hike all around. The drive up is a bit messy- bumpy and longer than you think but WELL WORTH IT.

I haven't camped here but I've been to the park next to the river several times in different seasons and always love it. In the warm weather it's never crowded and in the winter it's serene and beautiful. It's easy to get to without having to travel a distance from Bend. Great for individuals or families.

My daughter really enjoyed going tubing down the creek at Tumalo State Park with her friends. It was a warm day and the water was great!

My brother moved to BEND recently so we decided to do one more camping trip for the year and stay at this State Park. Two different camp hosts; Don and Barry, along with both their wives. Both couples were amazing. One morning the power went out in the campground. They were on it!! Only 10 minutes. Bathrooms and showers were... More
