Awesome stop along the Scenic Route 30. Be sure to take the .2 mile path to the bridge between the two levels of falls (or the one mile path to the top of the falls.). We went on a late Wednesday afternoon, so there were lots of open parking spots and not much traffic on the highway.

This is a very popular attraction, dozens of tour buses. Limited parking for the size of the area. Prepare for a very long walk. We were there late morning in early July, and wish we'd been there earlier, you can probably avoid a lot of the crowd. It was almost impossible to get a picture because of the sheer number... More

We have wanted to visit for years and weren't disapponted. We were there on a weekend and made sure we got there early so we got a parking spot and not too crowded at the falls. As we walked to the falls and got our first glimpse, we just stood in awe. It is just Beautiful. We walked up to... More

I have passed this falls many times but never stopped and went to the top. It is a beautiful falls and very busy. Has a nice gift shop and there is food and restrooms. I was alone so didn't get a picture taken with the falls behind me and it was crowded so I didn't ask anyone. I really enjoyed... More

Gorgeous waterfall and park about 30 minutes east of Portland. Well worth the trip to see it, as the two drops combine to be more than 600 feet high. A short path takes you to a bridge below the first, larger drop. A popular stop for tourists, we encountered an almost-full car lot and a couple of tour buses, so... More

These are along historic hiway 30 and worth the drive. Don't do this on a weekend too crowded. Do during the week in the afternoon and it is very enjoyable. Beautiful park and that pathways are perfect for young and old. Do walk to, at the very least, the bridge. This is a beautiful waterfall. Walk all the way to... More

The last time I was at the Falls I only walked to the bridge. It is beautiful there with a great view of the falls and the Columbia River. This time I made it to the top. It is a bit of a hike with 11 switchbacks and a constant incline. The path is paved but is very narrow in... More

The falls are beautiful and a quick walk up to the platform/bridge is nice. You can continue on a longer hike to the very top - be prepared, this zigs zags back and forth and is over a mile climb up. You can sit at the top and have a lunch. I suggest early morning before the crowds get there.

Views of the falls are great as you can get very close and usually get a good picture. There are some longer hikes to the top of the falls. Was a little crowded when we were there but still able to find a parking spot as there is always someone leaving. There is a nice gift shop, snack bar and... More
