We love this place. It is beautiful, clean, safe, and convenient. Located only 1 mile from downtown Brookings, Oregon, it is a state park with full RV hook ups. Sites are wooded and not too close to each other. Easy walk to the clean beaches...More

Oregon has such beautiful campgrounds and Harris Beach is at the top of the list. Easy beach access from your campsite, accommodating staff, clean and quiet. Since we did alot of our meals in camp, we were bothered by the rather aggressive crows. Don't leave...More

Probably the most popular beach in Brookings. There are picnic tables and good paths to the beach as well as great parking to just watch the waves roll in. Good tide pooling to the south of the main access. Also a lovely campground.

We stayed for a few days and used the park as a base to explore the scenic corridor. The beach itself is worth s visit and there is a great panorama from the Butte trail. The campsites were well maintained - great showers!

There is a nice overlook from the main road just as you are leaving the north end of town You get the view without the climbing.

If you have a paid reservation, a late check in time is not a problem. We have checked in many times after the booth closed, so all we did was found a site, then register and put money in the pay envelope. Hope you love... More

I do believe fishing is allowed. Never did it myself, but I have seen fishermen casting into the surf.
