This was one of our favorite beaches, not only to walk along but to camp at too. The campground itself is great and is a short downhill walk down to the beach. The walk back up is a little more intense but you can always drive down to the parking lot instead of walking but it does close after hours.... More

We stayed at site #A24. It was the best campsite. It had the best view of the beautiful ocean. Campground was lovely. The bathrooms were clean and were even heated. The showers were hot and clean!! We went on an amazing hike down to the beach with our dogs. We will be coming back here, again and again.

What a beautiful place! Coming from the land of rocky beaches (Washington), this place was absolute paradise. The beaches were sandy, the views beautiful and the kids (ages 11 and 13) loved it. We camped at the park in site B20. One of the bigger sites, we loved lounging around in it. Only negative, which has been mentioned here before,... More

This was the only place we found along the Oregon coast where we felt it was safe to let the kids take off their shoes and roll up their pants and run along the shoreline. The big rock formation out from the beach stopped the big waves from reaching the shoreline. The water was very blue and was a bit... More

This has become a popular beach and parking may be difficult at times, but it is a great place to take the children to the beach in Oregon. The restrooms and facilities are great, there is a campground, and you are close to Brookings if you need anything.

Nice beach with great facilities. We were looking for tide pools to view sea life but the beach is all sand so we moved on. If you are looking for a beach to sit and relax it is a great place.

My daughter and I stopped at this local favorite beach after spending some time at Lone Ranch Beach. The one thing we noticed immediately is that this spot is more developed. It had a large parking area and public restrooms, and a camping area nearby. It is, after all, a state park so no surprises there. The beach was a... More

The walk in was a little rough but the beach is worth it. Smaller beach but we were here Friday of the fourth weekend and less then 15 other people around.
