Open from April through September from 9 to 4 pm, Powerland Heritage Park- "where history comes alive"- is Oregon's top family destination and value-packed bargain. It's 15 unique museums offer something for everyone: trolley rides, vintage and antique cars, vintage John Deere and Caterpillar farm and construction machinery,100 year old logging operations, and more. Be sure to mark your calendar for the annual Great Oregon Steam-Up, always the last weekend in July, first weekend in August.

My husband has been an exhibitor at the great Oregon Steamup for over 15 years. It is a yearly trip we look forward to all year. We now have a three year old and we have found that every year just gets better and better....More

A variety of museums and displays from steam engines and blacksmithing to modern semi-trucks and huge earth moving equipment. There are special events here as well such as a civil war re-enactment, vintage camping trailer rally, etc.

Went on a "normal" Sunday opening day rather than a special event. A large site with a number of individual museums located there ie Trolley museum, Truck museum, Car museum, tractors etc... Only drawback is that not all of them are open on the same...More

The annual "Steam Up" is an event worth seeing! ..but any visit is great..allow at least a whole day..if you like old machinery,this is your Mecca ! See their website.-Just off I-5 north of Salem,Oregon.

Happening at the end of July and the beginning of August the Great Oregon Steam-Up brings to life tractors and machines all steam powered. The museum of antique cars, trucks and vintage city street cars is presented in a no cluttered way. Plenty of places...More

I took my grandsons here for "Steam up" and we had a blast. If you or your family want to learn about the old days and how creative they had to be without computers, then this place is a must see. Absolutely loved it.

We were participants in a vintage travel trailer rally. They had about eleven museums around the property, a store, little restaurant, root beer floats, working trolley, showers, shuttles and a few hundred Civil War reenactors. Amazing We went to the truck and Caterpillar museums twice...More
