Flower lovers will enjoy the beauty and all the varieties of dahlias. But, non-flower lovers will equally enjoy the magnificent flowers and the overall serene beauty of this area. Easy to find and lots of parking all around the rows and rows of flowers. The pre-picked flowers are priced reasonably and so spectacular you'll want to buy several arrangements. It... More

What a spectacular sight! Having grown up in Oregon and living there for many years as an adult, I never thought of Dalhia Fields. A few years ago I went to the Keukenhof Gardens outside Amsterdam and the Chelsea Flower Show in London. Although these were spectacular, primarily for the arrangements, nothing could compare to the FREE viewing of the... More

The dahlias were at their height and truly spectacular. A lovely place to wander among the rows. Some of the names they've given the flowers are pretty funny. If you're lucky like we were and visiting when everything's in bloom, sure to bring your camera!

I spent a lovely morning strolling through the rows and rows of dahlias, and then just sitting on a bench enjoying the view of one entire field. So much color! So many shapes and sizes! And my dog didn't have to wait in the car for me. He enjoyed the walk and fresh air, too. Fresh cut bunches of dahlias... More

Wow! Such a fun place to walk around for an hour or two. The flowers are gorgeous and each variety is so aptly named.

Great way to spend a few hrs. Love that it's free and parking is also free. They have vendors selling food and flowers.

I had read about Swan Island's dahlia festival in the paper and since my daughter had been talking about being interested in buying some, talked her into driving down from Portland with me to take a look at them in person. We chose midweek to avoid the crowds, which turned out to be a wise decision. The drive from Portland... More

The festival is getting better every year. It was well organized from the parking entrance to field strolling, to the cut flower display and the educational seminar for gardeners. The food was very good and the bands added to the enjoyment. The beautiful dahlia colors definitely were for the shutter bugs.

We come out annually for the Dahlia Festival and were not disappointed this year once again! The displays were just beautiful and the fields were in full bloom! We love this yearly event and love to show our support for family business in Oregon!
