I consider myself fortunate to be able to go to Molalla River State Park daily with my dogs and sometimes grandkids and dogs. The park is bordered by the Molalla river to the west and the Willamette River to the north. There are picnic areas and fairly well maintained hiking trails throughout. We often see osprey, hawks, egrets, geese and... More

Good place to launch a kayak, take a short hike or play with your dog in the huge off-leash area. The hiking trail is shorter during high river levels.

It is right on the river, and there are open areas as well as a grassy shaded glen with picnic tables. There is also a place to launch your canoe, kayak, boat here.

We have gone there to walk the dog, and have seen large groups enjoying it. Wide open, basically just fields with river access for boat launch

Nice area to camp, hike, and bike. Every one I have come across has been nice and polite to be around.

Great place to walk along the river. Notice the flood mark sign on the large building. Good historic markers and interesting history. Lots of old trees.

Very open lawns, next to the river. Open area for off leash fun. Lots of friendly 4 legged pets and their owners enjoy the open area on sunny days. Away from traffic, very quiet park.

It's a great place to ponder thoughts in your mind, or just to enjoy the peaceful beauty that so elegantly surrounds you in all directions. As a writer, it isn't always easy to find inspiration to create and bring to life my words on paper. I visit this place often because here I find my words flowing onto my blank... More

I visited this place just yesterday afternoon. On my way home from work, I decided to stop and check it out. Absolutely gorgeous grassy areas to relax and while away the afternoon. I went on a very long walk out into the Cottonwood grove and ended up getting down to the river. It is not much of a swimming area,... More
