I looked this beach before going on my trip. I knew there was a waterfall there, but you don't see it right away. Helpful tip, once you go down the path and steps, as you are looking at the ocean, go right, The waterfall is around the bend a bit. Also some caves and coves. So cool for exploring. Would... More

During my boyfriend and I's coastal road trip we stopped here before heading to our hotel in Cannon beach. This was such a romantic spot for him and I to walk around, take pictures, and explore around "hug point". It does not take long to explore and it is not too hard to get around once you get down the... More

Small park with small beach but very peaceful. I was there maybe 2 hours after low tide so the beach is larger at times. Water was flowing from the hills down into the ocean across smooth stones. Not sure if this flows year round. I got caught by incoming waves fully clothed so beware!! Loved it!

This is a great and historic beach area! Visit at low tide to see a portion of the old highway, and get around the point. Watch for the incoming tide though!!

Beautiful views...loved the rocks to climb on, small cave like areas to explore and small waterfalls.

Pretty little beach. Its got that misty fog, and greenish sand. With some sand dollars here and there (although I wasn't able to find a full one). Nice little gem.

Nice little beach break spot to stop. Had the beach all to myself (along with my dog) but I'm sure it would be a lot busier during high season.

We visited here while staying in Cannon Beach. It is a short 15 minute drive or so. Parking seemed plenty. There is a small waterfall on the beach with a stream running to the ocean. There is also a huge rock formation on the beach, easy to climb on to view birds and tidepools. Many huge rocks on the beach... More

Visits to Cannon Beach can be quite crowded on a warm summer day if you stay at the main beach in town. Want to get away from the crowds? Drive south toward Arch Cape and pull into Hug Point State Park. Depending on the tide, you can find yourself all alone in a alcove of cliffs on the Pacific Ocean... More
