Hadn't been to this location in years...what a mistake!! It was absolutely beautiful. The weather was gorgeous and hardly anyone on the beach. Not much for parking is the only negative thing I can say. Don't miss this spot on the Oregon Coast you won't...More

This place must be visited at low tide so you can walk the original road that hugs the rocky cliff. There is a waterfall to be seen as well and brilliant green covered rocks make for great photography. There's a deep cave as well not to...More

Hug Point is definitely worth the short drive from downtown Cannon Beach. The key is finding the waterfall. The first time we went it was February, off season, so there wasn't anybody there to tell us where it is. We took a guess and managed...More

Take the stairs down to the beach. Go during the lowest point of the tides so you can go around the point on the north side to the waterfall and then further to the caves and wagon trail. Can't wait to go explore again.

Great spot to stop. Beautiful beach with cliffs dropping down to the beach, lots of little caves to explore.

I used to go there as a child and it was a secluded beach that not many people knew about. Now it has a paved parking lot. Still seems ok.

A lovely, area to explore the beauty of the northern Oregon coast. Gorgeous rock formations, tide pools, caves, waterfalls, and the old, stagecoach trail.

A small parking lot leads to a thin trail with multiple tsunami warnings. Ignore the warnings and walk to the beach, turn right (North) and walk to the waterfall and its accompanying cave. This is one of the best Hugging places on the Oregon Coast.

I would say it depends on the limited mobility. The road down to the beach is paved and a little steep. There are a few wooden steps to go down. Once you are down at the beach you can walk to the rocks and peak in a few of... More

I'm not sure the official answer but we did see some people that started a fire inside one of the caves.
