Great insight into different facets Cannon Beach

Small, but surprisingly good exhibits and information that lends depth and appreciation of the history of the town.

This is a hidden jewel in Cannon Beach. It's slightly off of the main drag, but easy to find. The history of Cannon Beach is very well displayed and most interesting. Gave us a great background on the local area.

If you can figure out their schedule this is worth the trip. They've done a nice job of telling the story of Cannon Beach's history.

Was a great place to get a quick overview of the town and area. The museum has artifacts from all different eras of history. They have some old cannons from merchant ships that sank. Plus explains the history of how the granite haystacks are created. It's a free admission, but the accept donation.

We spent a couple of hours wandering around this wonderful museum looking at all of the historic pictures and finding out things I never knew about Cannon Beach and the Oregon Coast. If you have time, this is a great way to spend the afternoon.

Really worth seeing. They featured a lot of town history as it related to tourism development and logging industry. Of special interest to us was the wealth of first person accounts (local people) on WW II. So glad we went!

Interesting photos of Cannon Beach through the years. No admission charge. Friendly staff. Only wish all the photos from the past had information regarding the location the picture presents and perhaps a corresponding photo of what sits on the sites presently.

Quaint little museum tucked away on Spruce Street. They did a great job with displays considering they are a small non-profit. You must stop by if nothing more than to learn about the area and support the history center. It will only take a half hour out of your beach day so do it....
