You will see breathtaking views of Haystack Rock to the south and Tillamook Rock Lighthouse to the north. You just have to survive the short drive to the viewing area on a road much like the road to Hana (Maui), narrow and barely wide enough...More

Ecola State Park cannot be missed under any circumstances. Beautiful, sweeping views of Cannon Beach and the Oregon Coast. Ridiculously dense forests and trees surround the area. Hikes and picnic areas are muddy-wear appropriate attire and bring a change of socks/shoes. I also needed pants...More

Ecola State Park stretches along 9 miles of stunning Oregon coastline. The narrow entrance road snakes through the spruce forest, eventually reaching the parking lot where you will need to pay $5 for a day pass. Ecola’s hiking trails offer cliff side ocean views including...More

Ecola State Park is a beautiful area just north of Cannon Beach. If you want a nice hike through some sections of old growth forest take the Clatsop Trail north from Indian Beach up to the hiker's camp then return along the coast back down...More

We visited in search of whales that had been seen the day before but missed them. It’s a beautiful park to drive through (we didn’t hike as many trails were closed from land slides). Day pass was only $5 . The Pioneer Beach was a...More
