We booked the ride because we were planning to visit relatives in Portland. The day of the booking there was significant cold rain in the forecast. Sarah called and offered to cancel. We wanted to do it anyway. We got soaked during the first 5 minutes, warmed up and stayed dry on a beautiful winter afternoon on horseback. Great horses,... More

My wife, daughter and I thought we would try a fun way to visit the local vineyards. We all had one of the best times of our life. We have visited vineyards all over the world but the enjoyment going by horseback from vineyard to vineyard was great. It added a new dimension to the excursion. Make sure to get... More

We had a beautiful October afternoon ride through the golden leaves of several vineyards. Our horses were friendly and tolerant and knew exactly where they were going, although our guide, Sara, was clearly the (human) boss. Sara was considerate and you can see she enjoys the horses, talking with the guest riders, and showing off some of the local wineries... More

We were 9 women who had an amazing weekend in Willamette Valley. The highlight was the Equestrian wine tasting outing. What fun! Great horses and guides. We loved it!

I own a business offering wine tasting trail rides in eastern Washington and so while I was in the Dundee Hills area I booked a ride with Jake at Equestrian Wine Tours to see how they did it and get some ideas. (And because wine tasting horseback is THE way to go!). Jake and Cheryl are lovely, gracious, and friendly.... More

Sarah was excellent! She was very personable, gave good instructions and had fun with us. I am not a rider, I've ridden a few times in my 71 years but last time was at least 8 years ago, trail horses only. It was an easy and beautiful ride, the horses are all Tennessee Walkers and soooo easy to ride.

An unforgettable experience. Jake is quite the guide and host. Shirley is lovely. Don't know how to ride? Not a problem. You can drive up and taste anywhere, but how often can you ride a majestic steed between the rows of vines to the winery? Truly an experience not to be missed.

This truly is a fun adventure that people with no riding experience can enjoy. Our guide, Nessa, took time to match horse & rider personalities and then led us off on a great ride through the vineyards and countryside to local tasting rooms. One changed minimally and other 2 provided complimentary tasting. We had ordered lunch before our ride but... More

We had a beautiful day! It was great time. If you are a horse lover and love wine, this is a must do!! The horses are well trained and pair appropriately with the riders. The wine from the area wineries is excellent and view of the Dundee Hills is spectacular. We could even see Mount Hood, which I never expected... More
