What a pleasant surprise this was after having a bad experience at Ken Wright Cellars. I had arranged to meet with Dave, the owner, ahead of time. We initially tried the white wines in the tasting room, and then Dave took us up to the vineyards, with it's fantastic view, for the red wine tasting. His winery abides by environmentally... More

Lovely people who organise a great tasting. Been tasting wines for a while, but this was the first time I had tasted Auxerrois. Originating in Alsace and a sibling of Chardonnay it is normally a blended grape, but in this instance straight up Auxerrois - a pleasant wine and different. Produce wines under the Carlton Cellar and K&M labels. We... More

If I have to use one word to describe this winery would be PASSION! The owners and everyone who works here absolutely love what they do. Beautiful wines and gorgeous winery but the people makes it really special!!!

Many Willamette Valley wineries seem to be a little full of themselves, with swanky tasting rooms and over-priced wine, but Carlton Cellars isn't one of them. This was our second stop on an afternoon of wine tasting in the Yamhill-Carlton AVA. We liked it much better than the very expensive winery we visited first. Personal attention was the key to... Like the sign in the men's room says, "Life is Good on the Corner". You might not think "Gas Station" the next time you're hungry, but if you find yourself in Carlton on a summer day, you really should. Breakfast, sandwiches, burgers - and a great selection of draft microbrew (also available in to-go growlers), were served up with a... More

Enjoyed our experience at Carlton. In addition to explaining the wine-making process, our host also took the time to give us recommendations for restaurants along the way to Bandon. Sorry, don't remember her name, but she was very helpful, outgoing, and friendly.

We were fortunate enough to spend some time with Stacy at Carlton Cellars last Friday. The wines were very good, but Stacy made this experience the best. We visited about 20 wineries during our trip, and this was the best overall experience. The wines are a bit more affordable than some of the other wineries we visited (creating a good... More

This is a great way to wine taste all the fabulous wines from Carlton. They just hosted an event that had 20 tastings from 5 cellars that were all AMAZING. Everything was very different and the feel was relaxed and enjoyable. You were able to meet the wine makers and sit and enjoy a glass of your favorite wine outdoors... More
