This is a family owned winery that isn't at all pretentious. Sue, Kira, Eric and Linda are wonderful, down to earth people. We visited Laurel Ridge Thanksgiving weekend and did a tasting. The tasting room is spacious, well laid out, and has an adjacent patio with a terrific view. The staff was very friendly, knowledgeable, and welcoming. The tasting was well staged with food pairings offered for each wine (6 total). The wines are generally good. The location is easy to access,... More

We stumbled on this place looking for a different winery. Staff were friendly and the setting couldn't have been better. Wine wasn't great but it was good enough and not too pricey.

I have taken several friends here on several occasions. The staff is very friendly and the tastings are always fun. During one tasting the winemaker took us on a tour of the winery. The Roco Riesling is my favorite along with their excellent Port. Their wines and tastings are also budget friendly!

The server seemed a bit of a wine snob at first but warmed up after a bit. Then the owner stopped in and offered us a tour. Its the first time I have plunged my arm into a vat of grapes to check density. Also, they do have some very good wines!

I brought a group to Oregon for hiking and wine tasting. Our travels through the Willamette Valley took us through Carlton and by Laurel Ridge Winery. It wasn't a planned stop; but it turned out to be a favorite of the group. Not only did we get a wine tasting in the tasting room; we also got an impromptu tour... More

I visited Laurel Ridge winery in April and had a great time. The woman tasting wine was very friendly and informative, and was more than accommodating in explaining the wine-making process. I'm new to wine tasting but thought they had a great selection of whites and reds to try and the tasting fee was very reasonable. It was a great... More
