The day I was there a wedding was taking place down on the beach. Best place to have a wedding! I actually went 3 summers ago in June. (The date range below doesn't allow me to go back that far I guess).

This was one of the best stops of our week long trip. Breathtaking, award winning roses, lotus ponds, dahlias the size of your head. I'm in love.

We usually stop here on our way down the coast. It is a lovely garden, right on the coast. Lots of roses as well as assorted other flowers.

The botanical garden is beautifully maintained and updated seasonally. By September, many gardens are spent. There is a lot of color, as well as mature plantings, all beautifully sculpted. There is a trail down to the bay and you can hear the seals and sea...More

Decided to check out the park so we started at Sunset Beach. Basic little beach with picnic tables and a place to hang out. Next stop, Simpson Reef overlook to see the seals and sea lions. Bring the binoculars! It's a reef where seals go...More
