I went with my sister and sister-in-law. We saw Ginger the whale. Captain Joe drove the boat, and he was personable and very experienced. All around great experience.

The real reason to go here is to go on a whale excursion. It's not really worth visiting just for the museum. It is, however, interesting to look around.

Didn't spend much time in the museum this trip but thoroughly enjoyed the Whale Watching Tour in a zodiac boat. Had hoped to be on owner Carrie's boat but she had her college students there for a field trip. We weren't disappointed in our guide...More

Trips of a lifetime...Make reservations..Great staff and Captains..can be close up and personal with the beautiful summer resident Gray Whales..will never miss this..

There are many, but we chose The Whale, Sea Life, and Shark Museum at (541) 912 6734. We liked the idea of the smaller boats to be closer to the whales. The animals are in this location year-round, but call to ask... More

Museum $5 and whale watching is $40. Need to call for reservation and they may have headed south. Depoe Bay area is best. Great veiws. Good luck. Great place
