We saw Mount Bailey from both a viewpoint location as well as from Diamond Lake. The 2000 foot Mount Bailey is a young tephra cone and shield volcano. It is in the Cascade Range of Oregon.

For experienced skiers only. Contract with Diamond Lake Resort for cat lift up and spend the rest of the day skiing down. The thrill of heli-skiing at fraction of the cost.

A must see when you visit the lake. Can't really miss it. Take a boat into the lake from the lodge or ride bikes on the path surrounding the lake. A 12 mile loop.

Stay at diamond lake lodge. It is only a few mile away and there is a hiking trail from the lodge to the mountain. You can find diamond like lodge web page on the net. They have a large cabin for big families.
