There's a reason this site is chosen over and over for our summer Olympic Trials competition - everything is run like clockwork, athletes are treated like people and the audience is knowledgeable. This creates the stage for great performances year after year. Experience an event...More

If these bleachers could talk! So many amazing races and events have been held at this classic facility. It is a walk through track history then and now.

National Olympic track and field trials are held here, what could be a more ringing confirmation. I am only looking at it in winter time. But the events during the track season, it is exciting.

I have always enjoyed seeing track meets at Hayward field -- from Pac-12 and NCAA championships to U.S. Olympic Trials to Eugene Marathon finishes. The seating is great and there are many seats under a roof to protect you from sun and rain. Events here...More

Last time I checked, it's open for anyone to run around as long as there's no official school event, class, or some bigger happening going on. I used to run around on it all the time.

Don't plan on bringing anything into the venue. They want you to purchase "extras" from them, i.e. food/beverages. Best to leave the extras in your vehicle or at home, so you don't have to take them back if refused entry.
