The trail to the top is about 1300 foot elevation climb over 1.7 miles. The outer trail will give you about a 4.7 mile loop. There is parking but plan to pay a trail fee. The views are stunning and expect people and dogs along...More

There is a very nice wide trail that circles up and down which I recommend. We went up following a runner. Straight up through rough terrain. It was a great workout. We went down the nice wide trail. Will be beautiful in Spring

Very nice trail for trekking. Came here in November, we noticed lot of moss on trees and pines. So much greenery in this season. Beautiful view to enjoy. Great for photo-shots.

The main trail/road from the west parking lot trailhead to the summit (Trail 1) is a good hike, but tends to get crowded in nice weather. If you don't want that "forced march" experience, find the trail maps on-line (I suggest the printable and interactive...More

Hike to top for great view and good workout, or stroll along the river to bird watch. New exhibits add interest to the pond and incense cedar areas. Volunteers have made this a real prize.

We visited the Mount Pisgah Arboretum for a hike and thought it was well worth the $4 parking fee. We did one of the loop trails which actually involved a combination of several shorter trails. I would strongly recommend that you print off the trail...More

There is a huge covered pavilion but sometimes it's used for meetings on the weekends. Trails of all sorts, rom flat to medium to steep.
