A little slice of heaven

I am older so the walking paths at Honeyman park are just right ! The pattle boats are fun as well. Just a good time all around.

We chose to take our beach vacation the week after Labor Day and the start of most schools'. Best decision EVER. I fondly remember travelling from Eugene to Honeyman for class field trips and enjoying the park then, twenty years later it is still one of my faves. I now have a two year old who had an immense amount... More

Loved this site. So big. Almost too big. We could have comfortably fit 4 tents, (we had 2). The bathrooms we stocked and super clean. The only reason I'm not giving a 5 rating is because there was no hot water in our loop. We will certainly be going back next summer to take advantage of the lake and the... More

Love this park. We come every year and spend a day sand boarding (rent your gear from Bill's Rentals .... much cheaper than the known places). Great setting of dunes, forest, and lake. For whatever reason, we have always had sunny skies here, perhaps being a little inland helps? Picnic area, restrooms, swimming, kayaks, SUP available. Super great location to... More

Pretty park with lovely views of trees and nature and a water. So peaceful and serene. Good hiking and camping.

Only got to experience this park for a little while - but it was clearly a fantastic spot to spend a day or two or more. Lots of camping spots or ways to do it during the day. Docks, boats, dunes and lots of big trees. If you come early in the morning, the dunes are not visible but a... More

This is a great place to camp. Nice fire pits, clean restrooms, great sites and friendly staff. The sites are paved for easy leveling of your RV.

So surprised by this park! Wish this had been the 1st thing on our travels this day, was too tired to really enjoy the water & dunes here. Be sure to take a picnic & spend some time. Amazing. Want to stay in their campground next visit.

Just outside Florence this is a small but lovely national park facility. Great picnic benches, lovely lake for swimming or hire a kayak/canoe, and sand slope to try out boarding or else get a view of the dunes. Nowhere to buy food on site so make sure you bring your own catering.

I like the hook ups for campers but it's too close quarters and too busy for my liking, I don't like having to have my dogs chained up all time so we stay on the sand where they can run and play.
