A very wonderful place to stroll and see the splendor of nature and wildlife. Bald Eagles, Egrets, Blue Herons, Ducks and hundreds of Geese. Quiet, peaceful and calming. Wonderful place to take children to experience the many animals and plants along the way

I took my 5 year old to this place. We had such a lovely time. Spent probably 3 hours here, walking around. The place was nearly empty when we went. It was serene and calm. We even got to see a blue heron! Wonderful experience....More

Love visiting and taking walks around here. The water does get high when it's raining. There are also Eagle Scout projects that have helped with keeping your feet dry while walking the trails.

Is there a picnic area there that would accommodate 25 people? If so, how could I reserve it for a family celebration?

the picnic area is very large with many tables I don't know if there is a way to reserve.. I would have to try to find out if there is any "management" of that area.. I don't know
