One of the most unique tourist attractions on the Oregon Coast, the Prehistoric Gardens is great for young and old alike. Just 17 miles north of Gold Beach lies an untouched prehistoric garden complete with 23 life size dinosaurs set among a lush 300 year old Oregon rainforest. The self-guided tour allows you to casually stroll along the path and discover what the Earth was like millions of years ago. Family owned and operated since 1955, this eco-friendly attraction is a must see! Pet-Friendly! Dogs are allowed to take the tour for FREE as long as they are on a leash.

We hadn't been here for years, but wanted to show it to our grandson. He loved the huge dinosaur statues (and the lush forest added the perfect backdrop). If you or your kids are into dinosaurs, it's worth the stop.

Life-sized concrete dinosaurs in a rain forest setting?? And just off hwy 101? Who wouldn't want to stop! Great for kids, interesting for adults. It was overpriced for the hour we spent there, but still fun and definitely something the kids will remember.

Very nice. Went at dusk, with a mist felt real. Short walk through redwoods and ferns with life size dinosaur statues. Looked like they could come to life.
