We took my father who hadn't been skiing in 20 years and didn't want to attempt something bigger. One chair lift and about 4 runs, so perfect for learning and practicing. We only spent about 2 1/2 hours there, and that was plenty of time. My more advanced kids got bored, but we were there for my dad. The staff... More

Summit Ski area is a great place to go tubing with smaller kids. There are 3 to 4 runs that are fast but not too long or scary. Our family always has a blast here. There is a nice lodge with good food, espresso, etc. and a Chevron in the same parking lot with a great selection of food, snacks,... More

This is a great place to go if you are wanting to brush up on your skiing before tackling the mountain. The staff was friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed spending the afternoon here. I highly recommend - great place for families as well.

We go to Summit at least once a year to get our ski legs back at the beginning of the season. This year our son wanted to start snowboarding, and the hill at Summit was a wonderful teaching hill.

Used a groupon for 6 people. Had called in advance to confirm we could trade 2 learn to snowboard packages for 2 tubing with children packages (less overall cost for tubing than lesson) was told yes that would be fine/not an issue. Upon arrival wasn't given correct tickets even though told the girl(Sarah) what we were doing. Went to tube... More

Came here on a Groupon and will never go back again. Just to get through the line to get our hang tags was ridiculous. The ladies at the registers were rude...I observed a lot of first timers and diverse ethnic families that were taking lessons and I felt the ladies were very condescending in their customer service. Then to add... More

Went here today with a groupon deal for tubing. It's a lot of fun, but wow what a crowd they had today. The most annoying thing was having to stand in a line for thirty minutes to get our hang tags. They really need to get this process streamlined for the future.

I love Summit my kids have been tubing and skiing here for 3 years! It is cheaper than anywhere else on Hood and the hill is great for beginners to intermediate. We always have fun when we are there! The staff is friendly, competent, and SAFETY is their #1 priority! Always a great experience at Summit!

Family of four cost us $60 for just utilizing the tubbing area. We didn't ask if that's covered the ski area too. But overall, it's too expensive. They act as if they're the only bloody ski area there. I wish someone else come up with a new area who charge less. Put them out of business.
