We've gone to see the Blue Angels fly here. If you pay admission, bring a cart for chairs, blankets, cooler, etc. It's very nice to see the airplanes up close. Friday night also has the fireworks show. Many people picnic right outside of the airport...More

We LOVED our visit to the OIA. We were treated to a lot of planes - old and newer. The highlight was probably the Harrier and several F-22s. The hovering of the Harrier was a spectacle to behold. The annoying and completely unnecessarily sexist comments...More

Really good air show. One of the best I've seen. Temp was great this time of year. There is a hotel across the street. There is also a train stop nearby.

So it's a good airshow. It's not the greatest...keeping in mind I lived in Las Vegas for years, and the one at Nellis AFB is the best in the country, perhaps the world. But it's not bad. Prices are crazy for the size of it,...More

We were lucky enough to be in one of the sponser's booths which meant that we were just feet from the runway. Amazing views and what a great time.

The jets they have come in from different places each year are amazing. Impressive how close they fly and how much control they have. The ground show is loud at times but entertaining. You can see some of the planes from a ways way from...More

Pros: Breitling Jet Team Cons: Everything else Unfortunately, this show was overrated and under performed. $10 to park, $25 admission fee and more if you include food or drinks. They wouldn't allow any drinks in - not even bottled water. They were milking this event...More

People who live underneath the hellish noise are not as excited by the aerobatics as crazies who live far enough away to enjoy the whole thing and then leave town.
