Great place to explore, watch birds, photograph beautiful flowers, or just relax. We saw an Osprey in its nest. There was a killjoy in its nest right on the trail. Very enjoyable place to visit.

Allow several hours (or more) to walk the many paths and to sample the many birds (including osprey) and varied vegetation. Largly flooded in the winter (but still accessible) - best accessed summer through fall. Wonderful example of preserving and restoring a unique area adjacent...More

Wonderful place to enjoy well laid out trails, plants, birds, wildlife. Watched an Osprey feeding it's young, perched on a nest high on a pole right beside the trail - fantastic. Visitor Center has lots of interactive exhibits for youngsters.

Great place to walk and enjoy the outdoors! The paths are clearly marked and lots of scenery to see. When we went they closed some of the travels to work on them which was fine but looking forward to exploring the rest of the park....More

This is a 600 acre park located south of Hillsboro on Hillsboro Highway. Here you can enjoy getting out into nature and watch several different species of birds. Ospreys are nesting right now which is a big hit with the kids!

This is a free excursion. Plan on going in the am or very late to see the most birds and mammals. Wear light tan clothing and be quiet so you might see some mammals. Also bring another pair of shoes for ride home due to...More

Brought our Canadian friends here to see the "Eagle's Nest" on a frigid January day. But still worth the trip to snoop around the "Educational Center". Did go outside and spotted a "Bushtit" nest which was incredible. Also the hummingbird nest on display will blow...More

Oregon has,had a very dry summer therefore the lake was dry. It was a cloudy wet day but we still managed to see lots of birds. A good day out

I go there whenever I can: it's so close to the town, yet so much country. They do lots of school age education inside the center and on the trails.
