We have enjoyed exploring the Rogue River area. As such, we were delighted to spend another nice day along the Rogue in August 2016. We went to McGregor Park where they have a web cam for the Rogue River. We took a walk on the Rogue River Trail. We also went to Natural Bridge Area and the Upper Rogue River... More

If you come to Grants Pass in the summer then sign up for a guided raft trip down the Lower Rogue. Better yet do the ultimate trip of a 3 day trip and camp on the river beaches and stay at various resorts on the river. The wild life is everywhere...Eagles and yes Bears too. I have seen it all... The Rogue River area was so beautiful!!! Driving along the highway and crossing the river was so relaxing!! The river looked so clean and refreshing with its emerald green color. We were fortunate on our journey that we saw where the body of water met the Pacific Ocean. The flora and fauna along the highway was so interesting... be prepared... More

I have been living on the rogue since i was a baby. I have rafted too many times to count and on many types of floating devices (some going flat....lol). I have caught many salmon an had many family picnics along the rogue river from where the rogue river starts to gold beach. My life would not have been complete... More

As a local, I never take this river for granted! Every kind of wildlife imaginable that is indigenous to our area....just the peaceful sounds of the river are mesmerizing. We go down to the river at least once a week, regardless of weather or time of year. Our visitors from out-of-town (AZ) LOVED IT!

Although not as much water flow as some other major rivers, the Rogue offers outstanding rapids, wilderness and adventure. Raft the river or hike the Rogue River Trail, you will enjoy the breathtaking grandeur and beauty .
