Between Prospect & Union Creek are many access points to the Rogue River but the most fascinating & unusual is Natural Bridge. It's a very short walk to the river & the bridge over it is beautiful. One can hear, smell & feel the river....More

This short hike takes you to where the river disappears into a lava tube for a short distance. Very prety

A great place to visit anytime of year as the volcanic tubes and the carving action of water are so well illustrated in close proximity to each other. Easy trails to these attractions can be negotiated by anyone. A real treat just off the highway...More

The upper Rogue River is my favorite place to hike. This 2.4 mile trail gives you a bit of both sides of the river and includes the fascinating natural bridge. This is where the river disappears underground, through a 250-ft lava tube, to reappear just...More

A nice short walk breaking up the drive to Crator Lake. The natural bridge is interesting but the lava tubes where the water enters and exits are a bit more interesting.

This is a short drive up near Union Creek from Medford. Worth every minute. Lovely walk around all the beauty of the area. Great side trip for both couples and families.

Between Medford and Bend or Crater Lake, drivers pass by Prospect and soon the a cathedral of trees lining the highway. Before Union Creek there is Natural Bridge. A wheelchair accessible pathway takes visitors across the raging rogue river so that visitors can see the...More

The parking lot is pretty close to the highway. More like 0.25 mile rather than 3.5. This one is easy to do as a very quick stop.

This is what I would rate as an easy walk or stroll through the woods. It is all level with a very slight incline, if at all. It starts at a paved parking lot with bathroom facilities and there is an information kiosk... More
