The Oregon Coast Aquarium is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization located in Newport, on the beautiful Oregon Coast. Our mission is to create unique and engaging experiences that connect you to the Oregon coast and inspire ocean conservation. The Aquarium is a living classroom for all learning styles and ages. As one of Oregon's top tourist attractions, the Aquarium is a vital educational resource for the state, with over 40,000 students visiting the Aquarium each year. The Aquarium strives to be a center of excellence for ocean literacy and plays an active role in conservation and animal rehabilitation efforts.

Perfect for families !! Allow several hours to enjoy. The Shark tunnel is fun for Selfies with a twist to tease your peeps back home with. Great learning experience.

The best aquarium I have been to. Great mix of kid friendly activity and adult friendly learning experiences. Love the variety of animals and all the things to see and do

I've really come to enjoy visiting this place. Their recent addition of the shipwreck exhibit is a big plus and should delight birth young and old alike.

Great aquarium. Go on a day when the weather is nice since much of it is outside. Touching tidepool that the kids will love with staff there to monitor and explain the specimens featured. The California Brown Pelican show was fun, but again it's outside...More

Having been to aquariums in various cities, I did not expect to be wow-ed. I was! A large variety of exhibits and a large section where you walk through a glass tunnel with animals above, beside and everywhere. Talk about "immersion", just a wow experience....More

That exhibit is absolutely breathtaking! Several types and large tanks with very large viewing windows!
