Its fun to visit at least once if just to bark back at the sea lions. Good sea food and drinks available.

Fun way to spend the day. Checking all the little shops, plenty of places to have a meal or cup of coffee and a great view! Plus several museums and other points of interest all within a few blocks!

If you drive down the Bayfront road, once you get near Undersea Gardens, park across the street and then walk back to the pier next to Undersea Gardens. There are a bunch of Sea Lions all doing what they do on some old docks. They're always jockeying for position in whatever their pecking order is. Its funny to watch. Then... More

As you walk down the street, you can hear a strange barking sound. Sea lions are on the docks, vying for space. It is fun to watch them.

We visit here often. Love the caramel corn at the candy shop and the leather works store. They have great deals on lots of items. Several good restaurants here!

I live in Newport and love walking on the wooden boardwalk by the fishing fleet. The boats are very colorful and make great photo subjects.

Stopped by on our road trip in August. Originally drove to the area to get a great picture of the bridge and found the area to be full of shops, sea food, lots of sea lions which gave us entertainment. Would definitely stop by again on our next trip.

Easy walking up and down the bayfront. Lots of boats to see in the marina. Several places to shop for souvenirs and lots of dining options. Several different types of cuisine from the expected fresh seafood/fish places to Thai and Japanese. Choices range from reasonable family friendly options to higher end of the scale finer dining with casual beach attire... More

Even though it was very rainy during our stay over the Thanksgiving week, it was always a pleasure to enjoy seeing the fleet, in harbor and going out between the jetties and through the bar. The bar was quite rough due to the wind and rain. We always enjoy staying in Newport and go there often.
