The expectation of this place should be seriously adjusted... The pamphlets and advertisements make it seem like a vibrant scenery of local underwater life. However, once descending the stairs you come to find a dimly lit, dingy space surrounded by brownish/gray water with minimal aquatic life. Yes, they have many types of fish, small sharks, and couple sea anemones and... More

This was part of the 3 attractions included in your price with Wax Works and Ripley's. It's mostly a gift shop with an underwater viewing area. Diver drops in to show off some of the sea life, but the viewing area has limited space and the viewing windows are very small.

I had higher expectations based on reviews I had read and was disappointed. It cost $29 for my husband and I to stand inside a fish tank that sits about 10 feet under the water. It was fun to see some of the fish but we were ready to leave within 30 minutes.

Has not changed since the 70's, less fish, same place. Not worth the $29.00 for my wife and I. Tired building and excessive prices.

When I first got tickets I thought we were going to see fish and stuff in their natural element coming and going but the whole area was staged. Still pretty neat and they have a scuba diver come and a little educational show.

If you time your trip right and get to see the scuba diver, then it's worth it, underneath where you go to the gardens can use some revamping, it looks a bit old and in need of upgrades. If you get a bit sea sick this may be a place to avoid, because it does tend to have some motion... More

It's just what the title says - a low-budget aquarium. They have short aquarium shows several times daily with a diver who shows off the aquarium creatures, narrated by another employee who does tell you a little bit about each creature, so it may be a good idea for little kids with short attention spans or who get bored a... I could do just about the same in my backyard pool. The ONLY good thing was the diver. The announcer was ill equipped to talk let alone educate. Listen to me.. run Forrest run as far away from this place as possible. You can see much much better at the aquarium in town. This is for folks that have nothing... More

While it's true the technology of Oregon Undersea Garden was at one time top of the line and that is no longer the case, believe me, this is no backyard pool. We feature Oregon Coastal fish in a natural environment. We use the actual bay water so what happens in the bay happens in our tank. We have sharks, skates,... More

They offer a "live dive" demonstration, which was fun for the kids. The diver tells of the sea life, lasts about 15 min. Enthusiasm of the MC was lacking. There are sea lions everywhere out in the open waters that is amusing to see but otherwise wouldn't pay to do this again as the undersea area is nothing more than... More

So this was part of three attractions we paid for. Be that, you can pay to visit just this attraction or for a little more, you can add the wax works and Ripley's tour. Having read a boat load of low and not so good reviews for this one, this is the one we started with. We lucked out and... More
