If you can make it to see the Rodin exhibit, do so! The African American Art and Native American Art exhibits were also exceptional. This museum has something for everyone, from classics to modern. The space is spread out, and very well designed to showcase the art. I would not miss this, especially if you love art and museums.

The PAM is a moderately compact multi-floored museum with lots of modern art, but also with a number of turn-of-the-century items of interest. PAM recently had a large Rodin exhibit with fascinating information on his sculptures. The museum is right downtown. The building itself is of note.

The museum is currently exhibiting Rodin sculptures and it was exceptional. The permanent exhibits were also fascinating and worth our time. Parking was easy. Online discount of $5.00 per ticket available with code RODIN5.

Worth a visit for sure. Nice Native American collection. A little bit of everything. Only $5 after 5p on Fridays. A great respite from a bad weather day.

….in a far, distant corner of the United State is this small, but pretty comprehensive museum, with some great strengths and a few weaknesses. The Old Master collection is very fine, particularly strong in French and Italian 17th works, and some very good French 18thC things as well. The Marianne Loir portrait of a man is as good as Drouais... More

An enormous range of experiences for the culturally openminded. Stumbled into a collection of Rodin bronzes by accident. STUNNING! The several other galleries all held an amazing wealth of antiquities and current and provocative curations. worth every penny of the admission charge.

I was amazed at the breadth and depth of this show of African-American art. It brings together so many mediums - painting, sculpture, printmaking, drawings - from the 1930's to present day by artists of color who were unknown to me. A thought-provoking exhibition.

This place is $20 to get in, which would be ok if the collection was stellar. But I found the range of the collection to be just o.k.

I was surprised by both the size and the spread. My favourites were the contemporary and more modern. There are some real good pieces in the permanent exhibition. One of the temporary was Rodin. Interesting and good but not great. As I stated in the headline - well worth a visit.

Have Rodin sculptures, Native American Art and Contemporary Pop Art showing in February. Nice day trip in the heart of the city. Enjoyed the museum and outing in Portland.
