Park overlooking Portland area and surrounding mountains at the top of Council Crest. Site of an early amusement park with a trolley up the hill to the top. Great for relaxing, picnicing, viewing and jogging trails.

We happened upon this while walking the 4T and I'm glad we did. It had a great view, and an interesting history according to the marker.

Stunning views of the city in an easily accessible setting. Great place to visit in Portland. Kids love to roll down the lawns.

We were so fortunate to visit Council Crest on a clear, sunny day. There aren't many places like this where you can see so many volcanoes from one spot. Loved it
