We got here early and to our delight there is no entry fee before 10am. As you walk in we took the path to the left and we walked down by the small Brooke and we did the loop. We covered the whole garden in a little over an hour. There were flowers on bloom and all kinds of ducks... More

Even on a rainy day, the garden was stunning with the blooming rhododendrons and cherry trees. The resident ducks were an added bonus. It's well worth the little drive and minimal admission fee.

This is a must visit spot! Wear your comfy shoes and bring water and snacks because there are many paths to follow through the gardens. It's still cool but there were plenty of blooms, and lots of water fowl to watch. The paths are good for all abilities, including wheelchairs. It's so beautiful and peaceful. Don't miss out on this... More

While we a little early for some of the garden's flowers, it did not disappoint. We were nearly alone on our Friday visit and saw more birds than people. Rose, the docent, gladly answered all of our questions and added little insights and recommendations. A must visit for garden lovers visiting Portland.

I go a few times a year. The paved paths make it a great place to be outside when other areas are muddy. I visit any season, it is always beautiful. Last time I went I saw a nutria and many heron.

This was our first trip to the Crystal Springs Rhododendron Gardens, but it certainly won't be our last! The grounds are meticulously cared for and offer a huge variety of flowering Rhodies and other beautiful blossoms. The typical Pacific NW gatherings of waterfowl consisting of Mallards, Canadian geese, mud hens and Mandarin ducks are plentiful. The bridges are absolutely beautiful... More

I truly love Crystal Springs Rhododendron Garden! Rhododendrons are typically in bloom from February to July (with peak boom from late April to early May), but strolling the paths of this garden can be a wonderful, serenity-inducing experience from January 1st to December 31st. Potential visitors with an interest in birds should be aware that Wood Ducks are very conspicuous... More

This is a wonderful park not far from downtown Portland. It's perfect for a warm, sunny, spring day, when the rhododendrons are in bloom, but nice anytime of the year.

Crystal Springs is a great place to visit in the winter. There is no admission charge and the water foul population is outstanding. I took my granddaughter there for a visit and a photography project. She enjoyed the park, ducks, geese and squirrels. Great place to take kids on gloomy Portland winter days!

We took a ride down to the Rhode drone garden to feed the birds, I know you are not supposed to feed them, but my granddaughter can't resist taking something to toss in the pool. I have been in the spring when the flowers are in bloom , it is amazing how big some of the rhodies are. This time... More
