You can find almost anything here, from the largest bookstore in the world to a Ben & Jerrys ice cream 🍦 place with great employees like Amber! Come and walk around while you enjoy the street art and get a couple of books at Powell’s...More

So many great restaurants and bars in this area it's a must do while in downtown Portland, OR. There is street parking, garages, or you can take MAX. Parking is free after 7PM.

It was fun to walk around in the district. Not a gorgeous historic area though. But you have to go through it if you are in Portland.

This is where it's "happening" in Portland. Seemingly endless food and drink options, great vibe, fun to stroll around.

Exept on mondays when most galleries are closed this is a pleasant walking area. Do visit J. Pepin’s Art Gallery. Nice paintings for very acceptabel prices. 319 NW 9th Avenue.

We used to live in Portland Pearl District for over 6 years. What we love: People, Small Stores, Easy Walking, Safe, Small Little parks, feels like you are in a small / big city

It's a very interesting area of Portland with hotels , bars, some small parks and lots of buildings that have been renovated. Clean and safe to walk around with plenty of street cars serving the area.

The Pearl District is a big improvement from the areas earlier years with lots of trendy shops and eateries, but parking is a nightmare and very expensive. The building all seem tight making the area claustrophobic feeling.

An area full of things to see and do. It was the same weekend of the Gay Pride Parade and it was a lot of fun. We visited with people and everyone was friendly.

Pearl District is very close to downtown and a beautiful place. But in the trip I wouldn't leave any piece of Portland behind (not a big city, so bike would take you to most of places). Give South East and North East a... More
