Then book your Shanghai Tunnel Tours which does not include tunnels but a tour of excrement, drug and alcohol addicted people shouting at you. Not a safe place to be. I've never asked for money back on trips. This cost me $50 which isn't much...More

There really are no "tunnels" like the tour describes, just a connection of basements under retail stores. And most of the basements were closed off. I did some reading and the material I read said it was a myth about the basements being used as...More

Very uninspired “ghost” stories told in a three room basement decorated with debris. The history itself is quite interesting but access to the underground itself is so limited that it is not worthy of being called a tour.

We found this to be a fun outing, even though you do not go very far in the tunnels. What makes this tour are the rich stories, history, and anecdotes told by your guide. We did not realize there was such a dark past in...More

We bought tickets and no where on the website did it alert that the most of tunnels were inaccessible due to construction. Very disappointed in the tour as we were not charged any less for about half the tour.

We were a expecting more time in the tunnels. Only the last 15 minutes were in the tunnels. Despite this fact, the tour provided a history of human trafficking, racism and debauchery in the early days of Portland. We walked through the old part of...More

We did really enjoy the tour and our guide Aaron was great and delivered excellent insight and history. Only complaint would be not really seeing a lot of the tunnels. Otherwise was good :).

My daughter and I were traveling to Portland as part of a weeks' vacation. She wanted to go underground and hear about ghosts. We booked this before arriving and we joined up at Hobo's bar the second day of our trip. Hobo's is a unique...More

If you are interested in the stories, good tour. The tour guide was pretty good. If you want to actually see the tunnels, bad tour. We stood in three different spots underneath Hobo's while listening to the stories. To get the feel of the cramped...More

This is such an interesting tour of Old Portland and the history of human trafficking. If you are looking for the goofy "scary" ghost tour... this is for you. It was underground so it was smelly and dirty. This is a well done tour of...More

Yes, you and your daughter are safe going on the tour. Tour sizes are usually about 30 people, and the tour guides are informative and friendly. The tunnels are #10 on America's Most Haunted list and #1 in Portland. But it... More
