Traveled to Portland from Seattle on Amtrak. Union Station is quite a beautiful old building. The station was clean and security was visible.

A nice piece of Victorian Revival architecture with an imposing clock tower, my favorite thing about this station were the interior's beautifully preserved neon signage. Train enthusiasts will certainly want to check out this well maintained station.

Great classic railroad station, restored and very active. The spaces are great, and nearby development continues to integrate the station more and more back into the city.

It's a historical building that is well maintained. Can be seen from a distance as the structure projects itself in its grandeur. Near to the Greyhound bus station as well as the Max train stations that services the city and its outskirts efficiently

While making the rounds of sites in Portland, stop by Union Station and enjoy the architecture and history of the building. It is worth the stop.

The Portland Union Station is a clean, safe Amtrak station. The surprise was that if you are a "Roomette" traveler, there is a special waiting room. Quite nice.

Sorry. Can't give any information on this matter. I took the MAX train from Moda Centre to the city centre. Didn't drive.

It is illegal to smoke within 25 feet of buildings in Washington. Smoking is probably outside near the curb.
