Great concert venue

Spectacular old church in downtown Portland. The stained glass windows are beautiful and the organ is huge.

What a nice place for a musical holiday with Michael Harrison. No matter where you sit in the church you have a great seat for viewing. It does not seat a lot of people which makes it more a little personal. If there is a negative side to this review it is the numerous homeless people that line the sidewalks... More

Am part of a concert choir, and it was so much fun to sing in. I recommend it for all people, when the Grotto refused to let us sing at their sight they lost the opportunity to listen to beautiful music.

Who would have thought that the Old Church is not only available for weddings and events, but is also a great venue for live music and concerts. The backdrop is an old organ that actually still works, the stained glass is beautiful and the acoustics sound great!

I LOVE Old Church! I've been to weddings, concerts and celebrations there and always feel so at home in this historic little church! And I can't think of Old a church without thinking of Michael Allen Harrison's "Christmas at Old Church" - an annual tradition!

My high school choir and I traveled to Portland, and it turned out that we were able to perform for the Sack Lunch Series of concerts that are held each Wednesday. The performance space was beautiful! The Old Church is a non deminational performance space, which worked wonderfully for my school group since it was Holy Week. We were treated... More

Our family visits the Old Church yearly during the holidays. My favorite is the Michael Harrison events. Always a great show in a beautiful venue. I've also attended a couple weddings and it is so quaint. I am a photographer and there are so many wonderful backdrops.

My daughter was married here and the staff was very helpful and accomadating. The historical architecture of the church is beautiful and didn't require a lot in the way of decorating for the reception.
