Walk this bridge. It connects the South Waterfront with the east side. OMSI is just at the east end. River traffic is very active in this location.

Why are bike riders so inconsiderate of pedestrians? We took the family on a stroll across the crossing to view downtown and the rivers.

Just a simple walk/jog across this beautiful new bridge with fresh air and blue sky. It's a quiet and peaceful way to see the Portland vista and count your blessings while stretching your legs.

Leave your car, truck, van, motorhome, semi, at home or someplace else. Refreshingly just for pedestrians, zippers, roller skates, bicycles, tricycles to get across the Willamette River from Downtown (SW) to the Eastside and vice versa.

Yes, it is right next to OMSI so you can walk across it from the west side to the east side. You can also get to OMSI using the Portland Street Car, there is a stop nearby OMSI.
