On a warm sunny, though smoky morning we came to this park to enjoy the quiet and watch the ducks and water skeeters. the park is clean with many tables for picnicking along the river side. thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

High up hike along the River below, past an old Electrical Generating station. Good cardio hike up the ridge. I rode my bike up it.

There were quite a few couples and families there enjoying the outing and playing in the water. Swimming and tube floating were the favorite activities.

An even shorter drive. Lots of trails but we found it difficult to get to the bottom of falls near the old powerstation. Did a little fishing right before sunset with a few smaller bites. Also a nice swimming area that is rocked off and...More

Great little park and the river is absolutely beautiful! Walk up stream and drop a tube in to enjoy floating and seeing some wonderful sites!

We were staying in Eagle Crest Resort, and this park was very close. My son had a blast hiking around and playing for the afternoon.

The park was open but the Deschutes River was high and most of the surrounding trails were flooded or impassible. We'll try again as the weather improves.
