Great Hike up to the Falls, but Not Exactly Underneath It...

There's a moderately difficult 20 minute, 400 vertical foot hike to the top. It doesn't lead to behind or underneath the Falls, but you get pretty darn close and very wet.

Beautiful falls, nice easy hike. There are numerous falls on the North Umpqua River to combine into a full day of easy hikes and great scenery. Toketee Falls, Watson Falls, Clearwater Falls to name a few. The drive up the river from Roseburg is worth it by itself.

Worth the walk to see these breathtaking falls. Just have to be careful not to slip on the damp moss if you are old and crippled up like me, lololol.

One of many nice, scenic waterfalls along the North Umpqua River Highway. this one is just off the highway at milepost 61. Signs lead you to the parking area a short distance off Highway 138. Spring time is the best time to visit, but a early fall trip up here is also a must do to take in the scenery.

By all means you need to go to this falls. Very strenuous hike to the top, but well worth it. The view is awesome. Douglas county in Oregon has the best waterfalls in the country.

Easy hike to the falls and beautiful. Plenty of photo ops on the way to the falls. Interesting moss and lichens.

My wife and I have been a couple times with our two year old. Great short hike to do with kids. Lots of big trees, easy hike, and very scenic waterfall and stream.

This waterfall requires about a ten minute meandering hike through beautiful lush forest. You can choose to hike just to the first viewpoint, or continue on for a different view. I recommend all views as each is different and beautiful. There are several waterfalls in this part of Oregon and everyone I spoke with agreed that this one was the... More
