A Salem gem. Really beautiful venue. Seats are small compared to today’s movie theaters. This building oozes character and charm. They have bringing in good entertainment. We’ve seen music and comedy shows. Good, affordable entertainment.

From the exterior the Elsinore Theater is less then appealing. No less then 5 mini bars are its neighbors so the theater is not for casual visitor but rather a determined destination. Built in the 1920s it was rebuilt in the 1980s to its original...More

I love old theaters for their design and way of drawing us into the nostalgic past, but often they do not have the funds or loving support to be anything other than rundown, dark and dank. We just saw a concert at the Elsinore (Home...More

I brought my sons here to see one of their favorite comedians. What a lovely theater! We were there for a concert so I didn't really notice how the acoustics are, but the building is very beautiful and we had a wonderful time.

We have been to the Elsinore many times and each time the show was spectacular, the ambiance perfect and all the volunteers very helpful. Tonight was the Happy Together Tour with many bands from the 60s such as The Association, The Turtles, Archie's, Boxtops, Cowsills...More

We enjoy the concert last night and we had tickets to sit in the mezzanine level. We were in the first row so it made it very easy to be able to see the stage. Most of the people on the lower floor were standing...More

Intimate venue with beautiful architecture and restoration. Seats are comfortable and are tiered so that everyone has a great view of the stage. The acoustics are good as well.

Great place to watch silent or vintage films. The building and gothic decor is really lovely, make sure you go upstairs and check out the stainglass windows.

We have been to many events at the Elsinore Theater. It's a local jewel, and the community has done an excellent job supporting its renovation. I will not stop going, but it will be with a degree of concern. Last night we attended a presentation...More

Outstanding Theater, Live stage, large classical music venue, also classic movies; silent movies with the mighty Wurlitzer must be experienced. Beautiful restoration, good acoustics. Only issue I wish the seats were a bit larger.
