This small welcoming ‘vineyard’ has a Nordic theme. We enjoyed hearing the history and origins of the wines... and appreciated the casual, friendly atmosphere of the tasting centre. There’s a $5.00 tasting fee. We shared the tasting... and the cost. A 2012 Pinot Gris was enjoyed by everyone present. Apparently it’s on special, if buying a case. With a flight... More

We had an average experience at tasting. The drive up featured a lovely view but the tasting room is closed off from this and there wasn't outdoor seating available. The tasting associate talked about awards for their pinot but none of these were on the tasting flight. There were MANY wines on the tasting flight for a smaller fee than... More

One of my favorites we visited during our wine hop. So many varieties!! I'm not a Chardonnay lover but their Chardonnay is great! Staff were lovely and grounds were beautiful!

Went there on impulse. Saw the sign along the road and had to look into why a vineyard had a Norwegian name. Got there, tasted wine and sat a couple of hours with the owner. The wines, not to forget were really good and we bought some bottles.

We stumbled upon this place on our way thru from Silver falls. This a rare find, the winemaker and proprietor was very informative and super friendly. Oh and the wine is the best we have tried in the state.

A hidden gem! Close to Salem OR; oldest vines in the valley 1978, pinot noir, chardonnay, pinot gris, gewurztraminer, tempranillo. Amazing wines and best value in Oregon top end dry and some excellent sweet wines.

We visited Stangeland the day after Thanksgiving, during their holiday house. The lovely woman pouring wine was gracious, and talented, and friendly. I had a great chat with the soft-spoken, long-haired wine maker who is clearly passionate about wine. They have some glorious 2008 vintage still on hand. I cannot say enough good things about the woman pouring wine. She... More

Every time we visit we are very pleased. I bring out of state visitors here and they are always impressed. Surprisingly, they have some very affordable options. The staff is very friendly.
