Perfectly located statue at the end of the promenade. Large expansive family friendly beach. But where is Sacagawea?

The monument sits at the end of the Oregon Trail traversed by these two famous explorers. The monument has a short history of their adventures. They spent time here recovering salt for their crew. Nice photo op along the promenade. Unfortunately most of the rest...More

Lovely depiction of the pair located facing the beach. The monument was dedicated in 1921 by locals and there is a plaque for that as well. Great location that looks out on the pacific

It was a statue. It was nice. It was right below our hotel. We stayed at the Shiloh Inn. Crappy experience there. That will be in a whole other review.

I have to come see it and get a picture every time I visit seaside. It is right near the middle of the promenade walkway on the beach, and is in the middle of a roundabout turnaround for cars driving in downtown seaside.

The Lewis and Clark monument sits at the end of the Oregon Trail. Thinking about how these explorers made it all the way to the Pacific Ocean is amazing.

This statue made me pause and think back to what it would have been like to view the Pacific Ocean after an arduous trek across the US
