Not a bad little place to bike over to and spend a half aday exploring with your family. Lots of hands-on activities, programs and exhibits fit easily into a weekend vacation.

This turned out to be an unexpected bonus of visiting the nearby observatory. Interesting exhibits including injured raptors, meterorites and honey bee 'hive' you can see into. Very pleasant location near a river and pond.
