My kids are 16, 14 and 10 - and they all enjoyed the Nature Center. We waked to the active beaver dam, saw lots of frogs (and heard their splashes). Inside the Center are displays that are interesting, even to older teenage boys. Like the "Identify the scat" table, a microscope showing bugs' parts, owl pellets, animal tracks in sand,... More

We spent an hour here while some in our party went horseback riding. Neat little nature center, be sure to take a walk outside as well. We loved listening to the ranger talk about the owl he was holding. They have a few live birds on display as well, birds they have rescued, and that really intrigued our kids (all... More

We came here on a field trip and the center has a lot to offer. There are animals to see, reptiles, and nice trails to walk. I'm not sure if it costs to get in as we were here on a field trip. I must say though we were charged by a swan, interesting situation. He just kept coming at... More

This place is fun to go to as the exhibits are set up nicely, and everything you see there is somethings there that you couldn't get a good glimpse of the wild. I would recommend biking there as it is a very pretty ride and easy to get to.

I'm not sure how we arrived here, even with a GPS. it is a quite small, but very nice nature center. The exhibits were well done and informative. The staff was friendly, helpful and informative. It was reasonably priced. Well worth the effort to find it.

What a great place. When we were there and able to observe the Trumpeter Swans with their cygnets. The Nature Center has a nice collection of animals. There are owls, an eagle and a hawk. All the animals are there for rehabilitation or are unable to be released into the wild. There are classes and activities for the kids. The... More

The grandsons need to burn off energy so we needed something to do. Found this nature center in the AAA Oregon travel book thought we give it a try since it was only a few miles down the road. Glad I took my GPS I would have never found it with all the round-about intersections getting to this place. It's... More

This is a nice place to stop by if you have children. The nature trail is really pretty but there isn't much thrill in it for adults. They're a rescue and release nature center which definitely scores them points with me.

My kids love coming here-small and not a lot to see but neat anyway. Good little bike ride to get there and learning experience once there.

There were swans and geese that were nesting, preparing to have babies and the Swans were quite noisy and entertaining as they were chasing the Geese away from their nesting area. You can get to the nature center by bike on the bike trails or by car and road.
