A very greenery walk to the fall to feel fresh and energetic again. The path ways are pretty easy and the mist from the fall is amazing.

Wahkeena Falls in another waterfall along the Scenic highway that you can easily see from your car. Wahkeena is a Yakima tribe word that means “Most Beautiful” and indeed it is, if you are talking about Upper Wahkeena Falls. The lower falls is a serries...More

August 23, 2017 - On our way from Portland on Route 30, we stopped at several waterfalls and Wahkeena Falls was number 3. While we did not take the hike that some people mention in their reviews, we enjoyed stopping and viewing the falls from...More

We stopped here on a very busy weekend. We had no trouble parking and I recommend to park here if you are planning to go to Multnomah falls and do not mind a .5 mile hike or a 5 mile hike. We chose the 5...More

We did the Multnomah-Wahkeena Falls hike, which goes about 6 miles up bheind both falls. It's not easy, but well worth it. Way better than being with the hundreds of people at Multnomah. Back up the mountain, we only saw a handful of people, but...More

Stop here and enjoy the falls. Park in the picnic area off of the road and then hike down the trail to Multnomah Falls and avoid that traffic nightmare. You will see impressive forests, ferns and fauna along the way. Lovely!

about a half mile away, I'd guess, accessible by an easy road side trail, west of Multnomah; worth the visit to tack another nice looking falls onto the list.

We went there last July just a very short hike, this falls has its own beauty and you can get very close to it and get wet.

Sorry, we were there right before the fires. I have no idea how the area is now. If everything is open, I would suggest parking at the park on the west side prior to the falls and walking the trail in, that was very... More
