Just 9 miles out of Yachats, OR is a small area with an old refurbished covered bridge. It is a small spot, but gorgeous all around. Worth the 15 minute drive.

We visited on a beautiful sunny day and the drive is beautiful. The road, however, is very narrow. It is approximately 7 miles from Yachats. At the end of the bridge there is a farm and that is where it ends. You go no farther....More

We saw a sign, to go up the road for a number of miles, and then drive on a dirt road for another couple of miles. We both walked across the bridge, took pictures, and then had lunch in the shade of a great big...More

2nd time I have been here and well worth the trip. Just when you think you've gone too far down an old dirt road, you find it in such a beautiful setting. Worth the time and effort!

The bridge has been well maintained and updated in the past several years. Once you cross over the bridge you will come to a fence and sign that is posted as Do Not Enter. The locals tell me the home owner just past the fence...More

An easy, short drive through the countryside to see some history and enjoy the local scenery. The bridge is beautiful and in great shape. Wonderful picture opportunity.

The coastline is rugged and magnificent, but this side trip was a nice change of scenery. Don't miss the giant tree across from the bridge.
