I can't even begin to say how beautiful this area is. There is a State Park about every 5 miles and we stopped at most of them. Each one was different and wonderful. It would be hard to say which one was the best. Being here in Nov. , though it was colder, it wasn't crowded, which was great.

One of the most interesting and beautiful coast in America. We stay at the Overleaf Lodge every year and walk along the 804 trail.

You can park and explore along the rocks a tidal pools and all the driftwood. People have built little shelters out of the wood and there are incredible views.

Having grown up in Eugene, We'd take day trips to Florence...rarely going further than driftwood shores.until we dis covered the jewel of the central coast. If there is a break in the weather it always starts on 804 trail Sun starts to peak out and the ocean comes alive! Imo, it is the best place for a romantic getaway. Try... More

tons of pull over spots all along the coastline. we loved every minute of our time there. this coastline is like no other I have ever seen and I have been to a lot of places. It has a rugged beauty and is relatively untouched (not over crowded with buildings, etc..) We saw sea lions feeding, harbor seals and whales... More

Unbelievable views. We live on the East Coast and spend a lot of time by the water but there is something special about coming to the West Coast and enjoying the Pacific Ocean!

Looking down the coastline, you are thankful that for the most part, the coastline is undeveloped, thanks to early legislation to keep the coast open so all can enjoy its beauty!

Love Yachats. Beautiful area, lots of stunning views of the Oregon coast along Hwy 101. Do yourself a favor and visit Cape Perpetua Scenic Area. You will want to stay and see all this jewel of Oregon has to offer.

We drove from Cannon Beach to Yachats and Yachats definitely has the best views on the coastline. Beach, rocks formations, crashing waves, whether from high above or at sea level. This was my favorite part of my trip.
