Easy access to a rugged and rocky coast. Lots of dramatic waves and little nooks and crannies filled with starfish and sea anemones. Wear real shoes, the rocks can be challenging.

Devote a day to the multiple coastline features from Yachats south toward Florence. Consider visiting the water features like Devil's Churn and Thor's Well around high tide, if possible. You can duck into every wayside, viewpoint, beach, etc. in this Cape Perpetua Area for wonderful...More

We stayed at a gorgeous four bedroom / 3 bath home on the Oregon coast called Watercolors. Very private and close to great restaurants even though it has a wonderful kitchen! It is managed by Ocean -Odyssey.com in Yachats. There were just four of us...More

To be honest I was not expecting the level of scenery on this coast. It was stunning. Epic vistas and shear drops with a rugged sea. All set with majestic redwoods on the other side of the road!

You can never tire of the rocky views But there is also sandy beach which is fun to walk. Yachats is one of the most beautiful areas on the coast in my m8nd.

One of the popular travel guides lists this area as a favorite of theirs along the Oregon Coast. No argument that it's a very pretty area with a lovely coastline, quaint seaside cottages, and shops. Apparently the correct pronunciation is yah hots. Nice place to...More

This is our favorite place to come in the winter. The waves crash and the views are great. Beaches to walk are nearby. Caution is required if you decide to venture out on the rocks or the few sandy spots.

A great time to visit the Yachats coast. Perfect weather and the scenery along the coast was breathtaking. We visited Heceta Lighthouse and Cape Perpetua.

We stayed at the Ziggurat that was beautiful and right on the water about 5 miles from town. You can go to AirBNB and search for "Yachats Ziggurat" to check on availability.
