A great time to visit the Yachats coast. Perfect weather and the scenery along the coast was breathtaking. We visited Heceta Lighthouse and Cape Perpetua.

Roaring surf and diving seabirds. We stopped on a particularly blustery day but loved this very inspiring and romantic overlook.

The area around Yachats is beautiful, but has some sharp, rocky coastline areas. If you want to walk out to see Thor's Well or the Devil's Churn you need shoes or boots with a sturdy sole or your feet will regret it. There's some lovely...More

We drove the coastline of Oregon in October. It was an amazing trip. The fog rolled in and out as we enjoyed our drive. Every turn of the road showed another lovely vista.

The Oregon coast line is tremendously sublime... Beautiful anytime of year. Whether high tide or low the views are second to none.

The Yachats Coastline is one of the top wonders of the West Coast. This awe-inspiring landscape is humbling. Best to view and enjoy the view travelling south as pull-outs are more easily accessible.

We have visited Yachats twice in the past couple of years. The breakers are fantastic. The 804 Trail that runs past some of the most impressive rocky beaches is worth the walk.

Highway 101 decides the town of Yachats. Heading north, if you make a left hand turn just after entering town, the views are amazing. After a few blocks on the coast, there is a park/picnic area and for parking.

Great place to enjoy the sunset out at the county park. The bay pretty much empties at low tide. Nice birding for shorebirds and gulls and the occasional whale offshore.

We stayed at the Ziggurat that was beautiful and right on the water about 5 miles from town. You can go to AirBNB and search for "Yachats Ziggurat" to check on availability.
