We stopped off here with our friends on a visit from the UK. We had such a lovely time. The wine tasting was great and the lady was so friendly. I even brought a bottle back to the UK which I loved! Would definitely recommend a little stop off here.

Our first visit to the winery, but we've been buying the wine at site stores for years. Great place & the octoberfest wine tastings with music were worth $15!

We love wine so ,This was a great choice for us. We took the self guided tour and really enjoyed it!! Very interesting!! The wine is wonderful! We tasted some different wines that were all very good! We purchased two bottles!! If you love wine and want to see how it is made from the grapes to the bottle, you... More

My husband and I took my father-in-law here as part of his birthday present. Previously, he had only been to the retail store in the Lancaster Outlets. The grounds here are beautiful, and very quiet. We did the self guided tour, probably faster than what they recommended but it was neat to see all the inner workings. The wine tasting... More

Went with friends for the first time. We actually brought our own food and purchased a bottle of wine. Had a great spot under a shady tree and the band was excellent. Will definitely do this again.

This winery really has it down to a science. We were allowed to choose 6 to taste. They had suggested pairings for our tour. The 6 are brought at one time, along with the treats to pair it with, and there was not one disappointment in the bunch! Truly something for everyone. There are two floors and restrooms are in... On the day of your visit we were participating in the Sweet Sensations wine trail event for Hershey-Harrisburg Wine Country, and food treats were part of the theme. We organized it so that you could choose any six wines from our full wine list while considering our recommendations for pairing with Garlic Parm Popcorn and Peanut Butter Chocolates. We're glad... Very nice grounds for walking or in summer watching an outdoor concert. Well organized tasting. Good wines. Nice selection in basement wine shop.

Thank you for your review. We're glad you enjoyed the visit. We'd like to clarify your comment about the wine shop. The first floor of the winery a bit dark, because of the archway outside, but it's not truly a basement. It's on street level, and handicapped accessible. Because the winery is three levels built on a hill, the perception... More

You can purchase your wine that appeals to all tastes here. I really like the Rhapsody In Blue white wine in the blue bottle. Not only is the bottle pretty but the wine is amazing!

nissleyv, Manager at Nissley Vineyards and Winery, responded to this review

Our wines range from very dry to very sweet, with many in between, such as the Rhapsody in Blue. It's especially popular during our Saturday evening lawn concerts in July and August, when people bring their picnic suppers and you can see blue bottles everywhere. More

Nissley's inspiring, picture-esque wine estate is tucked quietly away in the rolling country side of Bainbridge, Lancaster County, PA. Nissley's wines are very solid and pretty technically sound, with a lineup up whites, reds and sweets that you'll probably find yourself a fan of. The landscape and scenery here is just remarkable and feels like a place from another period... More

Seated tastings are becoming more popular, so we need to do something about that. Our paved parking lot is usually satisfactory. Sorry you had a problem there. We're glad you like our wines. More
